The purpose and intent of this website is fairly obvious and straight forward. It is to advertise and promote my services as a professional genealogist.  However, beyond that I wanted to convey my belief that genealogy is fun, interesting, and exciting.

Some of the goals that I wanted to reach are these:

• Have a website that would be distinct and different from others so it would stand out.
• I did not want it to appear as another "Corporate" business site.  I did want a clean, uncluttered look that would not be distracting.
• I did not want to come across as a "stuffed shirt" academic type.
• I did want to show that I am a sincere, easy to talk to person who can understand your needs and am willing to help you.
• I wanted my work (as shown in my examples) to speak for themselves as to my professional abilities instead of so much text and rhetoric.
