This is the chart that most people begin with. Think of it as a road map. This chart begins with you and displays the lines of your direct ancestors.	This is the family group sheet, it used to record a family group. The family group sheet includes space to record information on a couple and their children.

This is the research log. It is used to record what source was examined and the what the results were.	This is the research report. It is provided to the client at the conculsion of the research project.
